Q: How often should I have my HVAC system checked?

A: Once a year, ideally. Given the heavy mechanical nature of HVAC systems, they can be prone to wear.

Q: How can I tell if I need service?

A: If your energy bills do not reflect your usage, or the performance of your HVAC system begins to wane. Also check for odors coming from any vents in your home.

Q: Can HVAC equipment be serviced by a do-it-yourselfer or a handyman?

A: It is always recommended that you contact a
certified HVAC technician. These systems are very complex and require extensive knowledge and experience to maintain.

Q: How often should I change the filter?

A: It is recommended that you check/or change your filter
once per month.

Q: How often should the drain lines be cleaned?

A: It is recommended that you check/clean your water drain lines once per month to prevent expensive repairs or replacement.
